The best hand is known as a “nuts” hand. The nuts consist of an open-ended pair or a set of cards, such as aces. When the flop is dealt, the player who has the highest pair or three-card straight is a “backdoor flush.” However, a backdoor flush is impossible without a significant statistical lead, which is why it is important to bet carefully.
